Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengahui Peranan Pesatren Gelar terhadap Keislaman di Cianjur  yang mana Pesantren Gelar adalah salahsatu pesantren tertua di Cianjur. Pesantren sendiri merupakan Lembaga pendidikan Tertua. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode penelitian sejarah, yang terdiri dari 4 bagian yaitu Heuristik, Kritik, Interpretasi, dan Historiografi. Hasil dari penelitian adalah peranan Pesantren Gelar dalam Keislaman di Cianjur, Pesantren ini Berdiri pada tahun 1932 dan masih eksis hingga kini.
Abstract: Â Â This paper aims to determine the role of the Degree Islamic Boarding School on Islam in Cianjur, where the Degree Boarding School is one of the oldest Islamic boarding schools in Cianjur. Pesantren itself is the oldest educational institution. This research uses historical research method, which consists of 4 parts, namely Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. The result of the research is the role of the Degree Boarding School in Islam in Cianjur. This Islamic Boarding School was founded in 1932 and still exists today.References
