Abstract

ABSTRAK

Infeksi COVID-19 dapat menimbulkan gejala ringan, sedang atau berat. Gejala klinis utama yang muncul yaitu demam, batuk dan kesulitan bernapas. Skrining universal untuk COVID-19 pada setiap ibu hamil perlu dilakukan secara rutin, World Health Organization (WHO) merekomendasikan ibu hamil dengan gejala COVID-19 harus diprioritaskan untuk skrining melalui swab antigen atau PCR. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan melakukan swab pada ibu hamil yang melakukan pemeriksaan, diharapkan melalui pemeriksaan swab antigen akan memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19.

Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi dan penyuluhan tentang skrining swab antigen sebagai upaya pencegahan COVID-19 pada ibu hamil, selanjutnya melakukan swab antigen kepada ibu hamil. Sambutan dan partisipasi yang diberikan oleh ibu hamil dalam kegiatan ini sangat antusias. Jumlah responden yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 10 ibu hamil. Hasil pengabdian setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan swab didapatkan 10 ibu hamil negatif COVID-19. Hasil pretest didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang skrining COVID-19 dengan swab antigen dalam kategori kurang sebesar 40 % (4 orang), sedangkan hasil postest didapatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang skrining COVID-19 dengan swab antigen dalam kategori baik sebesar 90 % (9 orang).

ABSTRACT

COVID-19 infection can cause mild, moderate, or severe symptoms. The main clinical symptoms that appear are fever, cough and difficulty breathing. Universal screening for COVID-19 in every pregnant woman needs to be carried out routinely, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends pregnant women with COVID-19 symptoms to be prioritized for screening through antigen swab or PCR. This service activity aims to carry out swabs for pregnant women who carry out examinations, it is hoped that through antigen swab examinations can break the chain of spread of COVID-19. The antigen swab activity was carried out at the Rembiga Polindes, Mataram City. The number of respondents who participated in this activity were 10 pregnant women. The results of the service after a swab examination found 10 pregnant women who were negative for COVID-19. The results of the pre test showed that the knowledge of pregnant women about screening for COVID-19 with an antigen swab was in the less category of 40% (4 people), while the results of the post test showed that the knowledge of pregnant women about screening for COVID-19 with an antigen swab was in the good category of 90% (9 people).
