PENYULUHAN PENTINGNYA PERAWATAN HUTAN KOTA DENGAN POLA PELIBATAN PEMUDA DAN REMAJA

Abstrak: Peran pemuda dalam melestarikan lingkungan hidup sangat penting dan dibutuhkan. Pemuda merupakan generasi penerus yang akan mewarisi bangsa ini, termasuk kekayaan alam dan lingkungan hidup di dalamnya. Bahkan harus meneruskan warisan itu kepada generasi yang akan datang. Warisan kekayaan alam dan lingkungan hidup ibarat warisan berkelanjutan, dan pemuda menjadi bagian di dalamnya. Agar warisan dan amanat itu terjaga, pemuda harus berperan aktif dalam melestarikan lingkungan hidup. Mengapa pemuda dan lingkungan hidup itu tidak bisa dipisahkan, Karena pemuda adalah agen perubahan. Upaya penguatan ekonomi nasional dan perbaikan kualitas lingkungan hidup Indonesia dimasa depan, harus diawali dengan membekali remaja dan atau pemuda sebagai agen perubahan. Bukan hanya sebagai penerima manfaat kualitas lingkungan hidup yang baik, peran pemuda harus dapat dioptimalkan sebagai subjek atau pelaku dari berbagai upaya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan hidup, diantaranya; pelestarian hutan, konservasi keanekaragamanhayati, penurunan polusi udara, air, tanah, mitigasi-ataptasi perubahan iklim, penanggulangan bencana.
Abstract: The role of youth in preserving the environment is very important and needed. Youth are the next generation who will inherit this nation, including the natural wealth and the environment in it. Even the inheritance must be passed on to future generations. The legacy of natural wealth and the environment is like a sustainable legacy, and youth is a part of it. In order for the inheritance and mandate to be maintained, youth must play an active role in preserving the environment. Why youth and the environment cannot be separated, because youth are agents of change. Efforts to strengthen the national economy and improve the quality of Indonesia's environment in the future must begin by equipping youth and / or youth as agents of change. Not only as a beneficiary of good environmental quality, the role of youth must be optimized as a subject or actor of various efforts to improve the quality of the environment, including; forest conservation, biodiversity conservation, reduction of air, water, soil pollution, climate change mitigation, disaster management.
