JPL mempublikasikan hasil kajian, penelitian, penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pertambangan, lingkungan, dan ilmu kebumian. Semua artikel yang diterima dan memenuhi syarat akan dipublikasikan dan tersedia secara bebas (<em>open access</em>) untuk diunduh dan dibaca semua kalangan. Penentuan Lapisan Batuan Bawah Permukaan di Desa Malaka Kabupaten Lombok Utara Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik //ojs-upgrade.ummat.ac.id/index.php/JPL/article/view/13356 <p>Desa Malaka merupakan salah satu desa yang mengalami kerusakan berat akibat gempa Lombok yang terjadi pada tahun 2018. Diduga terdapat tanah lunak di Desa Malaka sehingga penelitian mengenai keberadaan lapisan batuan bawah permukaan perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui lapisan batuan yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerusakan ketika terjadi gempa. Metode geofisika yang digunakan adalah metode geolistrik dengan konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa bentuk lapisan batuan bawah permukaan didominasi oleh lapisan tanah lunak yang terdiri dari tiga lapisan batuan yakni lapisan pertama merupakan batu pasir, lapisan kedua merupakan alluvium, lapisan ketiga merupakan jenis batuan mengandung air asin dan lapisan lempung. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa pada kawasan Pantai Kwangwai terdapat gundukan yang merupakan hasil endapan debris avalanche yang tersusun dari blok – blok andesit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegtahui sebaran endapan <em>debris avalanche</em> dan karakteristiknya berdasarkan metode geolistrik resistivitas 2D konfigurasi <em>Wenner</em>. Berdasarkan pemodelan inversi 2D diperoleh hasil, bahwa pada kawasan Pantai Kwangwai terdapat material endapan <em>debris avalanche</em> berupa blok andesit yang memiliki nilai resistivitas 95 – 3000 ohm.m dengan ketebalan mencapai 18 m. Semen Padang //ojs-upgrade.ummat.ac.id/index.php/JPL/article/view/17987 PT. Semen Padang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri penambangan batu kapur dengan sistem tambang terbuka dimana pemberaian batuan nya dilakukan dengan teknik pengeboran dan peledakan dikarenakan batuannya bersifat kompak dan <em>massive</em>. PT Semen Padang memiliki target produksi sebesar 7.089.908 ton/tahun. Target produksi batu kapur pada bulan Juni sebesar 675.273 ton dan sedangkan produksi aktual hanya 465.258 ton. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada lokasi PNBP. Evaluasi biaya peledakan diperlukan untuk mendapatkan biaya yang optimal dan efisien yang dibandingkan dengan usulan biaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi geometri peledakan agar mencapai target produksi dengan hasil fragmentasi yang sesuai dan optimalisasi biaya peledakan. Untuk mengetahui perbandingan biaya peledakan dilakukan dengan usulan menggunakan rumusan <em>Anderson, C.J Konya </em>dan <em>R.L Ash. </em>Maka didapat biaya yang optimal dan efisien menggunakan rumusan <em>Anderson. </em>Biaya peledakan aktual sebanyak 15 kali peledakan sebesar Rp. 1.903.802.600 dengan jumlah lubang ledak sebanyak 1.050 lubang, <em>burden 3</em>,7 m, spasi 4,1 m,  panjang kolom isian 7,0 m dan <em>powder factor </em>0,27 kg/ton dengan fragmentasi 40,41 cm. Usulan geometri peledakan yang disarankan untuk mencapai target produksi 675.273 ton adalah Anderson dengan parameter <em>burden</em> 4,3 m, spasi 4,9 m, kedalaman lubang ledak 10,7 m, kolom isian 6,4 m, dan <em>powder factor (PF)</em> 0.18 kg/ton. Pelebaran <em>burden</em>, spasi, kolom isian, kedalaman lubang ledak, dan pengurangan jumlah isian bahan peledak dalam satu lubang berdampak pada naiknya fragmentasi menjadi 76 cm namun besaran ini masih dibawah target perusahaan sebesar 80 cm. Dampak lainnya adalah pengurangan jumlah lubang ledak yang sangat berpengaruh dalam biaya peledakan dikarenakan semakin banyak jumlah lubang ledak dan panjang kolom isian maka akan semakin banyak biaya yang dikeluarkan. Salah satu potensi energi baru terbarukan yaitu PLTA Kerinci Merangin yang berada di kabupaten kerinci, provinsi jambi. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan, PLTA ini menggunakan terowongan sebagai jalur air (<em>waterway</em>) sepanjang 12 km dengan beda <em>elevasi</em> awal terowongan sampai akhir terowongan <em>End Portal </em>adalah 400 meter dan ditargetkan akan menghasilkan tenaga listrik berkapasitas 350 MW (4 X 87,5 MW). Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam konstruksi terowongan adalah potensi ketidakstabilan atap dan dinding terowongan yang akan mengakibatkan runtuhnya terowongan. yang berimbas pada keselamatan pekerja, kerusakan alat, kerusakan sistem penyangga hingga gagalnya beroperasi fungsi konstruksi. Lokasi pengambilan data pada area <em>End Portal</em> merupakan batuan slate yang diketahui memiliki struktur foliasi dan terbentuk dari suhu dan tekanan yang rendah. Hal ini yang menjadi tantangan bagi peneliti untuk memperoleh kestabilan pada terowongan. Pada penelitian ini analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode numerik bantuan perangkat lunak Phase2, pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan 4 simulasi yaitu model dengan tanpa penyangga, model dengan penyanggaan actual, model untuk penyanggaan RMR, dan model dengan penyangga Q-System. Hasil pemodelan akan memberikan nilai tegangan yang berkerja pada dinding dan atap terowongan yang kemudian menjadi input untuk menghasilkan faktor keamanan.
