POLA PEMAHAMAN MASYARAKAT PESISIR BARANUSA MENGENAI KEARIFAN LOKAL TRADISI MULUNG (UPAYA KONSERVASI HABITAT KAWASAN PERAIRAN PULAU LAPANG-BATANG)

Abstrak: Tradisi budaya mulung memiliki nilai holistik dan ekolologi. mulung sendiri esensinya adalah menjaga sebuah kawasan perairan dari semua aspek pengelolaan (baik pengambilan maupun penangkapan) sumberdaya perairan, untuk sementara waktu sehingga kawasan tersebut berfungsi sebagai tabungan sumberdaya. tradisi ini beberapa dekade ini tidak dilakukan sehingga kawasan yang sejak zaman dulu di lakukan ritual mulung mengalami kerusakan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat pesisir Baranusa terkait tradisi budaya mulung. metode yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini dalam bentuk survei tingkat pemahaman. responden, dipilih secara acak akan tetapi dibedakan berdasarkan kelompok usia (stratifild random sampling) yang mewakili dua kelompok usia yaitu 25-39 dan kelompok usia 40 ke atas. hasil penelitian ini terlihat jelas, masyarakat kelompok usia 40 tahun ke atas tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman tradisi mulung signifikan yaitu kategori sangat tahu 28%; kategori tahu 62%; kategori tidak tahu 10%. pada kelompok masyarakat usia 25-39, kategori sangat tahu 14%; kategori tahu 8%; dan 78% kategori kurang mengetahui secara jelas. selanjutnya untuk kelompok masyarakat usia 25-39, secara mayoritas (54%) melalui survei menyatakan, mendapat informasi tentang tradisi budaya mulung melalui isu.

Abstract:Â Precious cultural traditions have holistic and ecolological values. mulung itself is essentially the essence of maintaining an area of water from all aspects of management (both capture and capture) of water resources, for a while so that the area functions as a resource savings. this tradition has not been done for decades, so the area that has been practiced from ancient times has been damaged. this study aims to determine the extent of knowledge and understanding of Baranusa coastal communities related to the early cultural traditions. the method used in this research is in the form of survey of understanding level. respondents were chosen randomly but were distinguished by age group (stratifild random sampling) which represented two age groups namely 25-39 and the age group of 40 and above. the results of this study are clear, people in the age group of 40 years and above the level of knowledge and understanding of the tradition of significance is significant, the category of very know 28%; the know category 62%; the category doesn't know 10%. in the 25-39 age group, the category knew very well 14%; 8% the know category; and 78% of the categories did not know clearly. then for the community groups aged 25-39, the majority (54%) through the survey stated, received information about the cultural traditions of the primitive through the issue.
