Abstract

Abstrak: Locus of control internal adalah salah satu faktor yang memiliki kontribusi terhadap niat kewirausahaan siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara Locus of control internal dan niat kewirausahaan pada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XII di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 3 Jombang sebanyak 392 siswa dan peserta penelitian secara total adalah 171 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala intensi kewirausahaan dan skala Locus of control internal. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis momen produk. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Locus of control internal dengan intensi berwirausaha, dengan tingkat signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,030. Locus of control internal berkontribusi 2,1 persen untuk niat wirausaha sehingga sisanya 97,9 persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Dapat disimpulkan dari penelitian ini bahwa Locus of control internal siswa dapat memprediksi niat kewirausahaan siswa.


Abstract:  Internal locus of control is one of the factors that has contributed to the entrepreneurial intentions of vocational high school students. This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between internal locus of control and entrepreneurial intentions in vocational high school students. The population in this study were all students of class XII at 3 Jombang Vocational High School as many as 392 students and the total research participants were 171 students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data collection is done by using the scale of entrepreneurial intentions and internal Locus of control scale. Data analysis was performed using product moment analysis techniques. The results of data analysis showed a significant positive relationship between internal Locus of control with entrepreneurial intentions, with a significance level (p) of 0.030. Internal locus of control contributes 2.1 percent to entrepreneurial intentions so the remaining 97.9 percent is influenced by other variables. It can be concluded from this study that students 'internal locus of control can predict students' entrepreneurial intentions.
