Abstract: Eucalyptus oil is only produced by a few regions, including Buru Island the largest producer of eucalyptus in Maluku. This condition can be used to optimize the product, but innovations can also be made to develop eucalyptus oil products. So this service aims to train partners to innovate hand sanitizers made from eucalyptus oil. The methods used are drilling through the delivery of materials and simulations of making hand sanitizers, direct assistance or use of video guides, as well as evaluation monitoring involving the village government for five workers at the Waitule Boiler MSME, Buru Regency, Maluku Province. The results that have been achieved in this activity are that participants can make hand sanitizers with an observation value of 85.5 and an increase in knowledge from the pre-test mean value of 72.86 to 98.7 in the post-test. Increased knowledge of the results of the pre-test and post-test shows that workers in the Waitule Ketel MSME have understood the importance of eucalyptus oil for innovation. In addition, the value of observing the practice of making hand sanitizer is also excellent. This means that the Waitule boiler can innovate products but needs continuous monitoring evaluation and support from multi sectors for its development.
