PELATIHAN FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY BAGI UMKM DI DESA MUARABARU

Abstrak: Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, bermunculan inovasi teknologi pada berbagai bidang, salah satunya bidang keuangan. Financial technology adalah solusi keuangan yang melibatkan kemajuan teknologi seperti pembayaran secara digital, internet banking, mobile banking, dan lainnya. Financial technology atau fintech digunakan para pelaku UMKM dalam mengembangkan bisnis dan usaha. Desa Muarabaru Kabupaten Karawang merupakan desa yang banyak terdapat UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian dihadiri sebanyak 50 peserta yang terdiri dari warga, pelaku UMKM dan perangkat desa. UMKM Muarabaru yang menjadi mitra pengabdian tersebut masih terbatas akan pengetahuan tentang fintech dan pengelolaan keuangan melalui fintech. UMKM Muarabaru masih melakukan transaksi keuangan melalui perbankan secara konvensional. Sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada 11 UMKM Muarabaru mengenai jenis-jenis fintech, manfaat fintech bagi UMKM, dan pelatihan dalam menggunakan fintech. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei, sosialisasi, edukasi, dan pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 50% antara sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pengabdian. UMKM Muarabaru mengetahui fintech dan manfaat fintech bagi usaha baik untuk peminjaman, pembayaran, transaksi, transfer uang, menabung dan investasi.
Abstract: Along with the development of information technology, technological innovations have emerged in various fields, one of which is finance. Financial technology is a financial solution that involves technological advances such as digital payments, internet banking, mobile banking, and others. Financial technology or fintech is used by MSME actors in developing businesses and businesses. Muarabaru Village, Karawang Regency is a village that has many MSMEs. The service activity was attended by 50 participants consisting of residents, MSME actors and village officials. The Muarabaru MSMEs, which are the service partners, are still limited in their knowledge of fintech and financial management through fintech. Muarabaru MSMEs still conduct financial transactions through conventional banking. So the purpose of this service is to provide knowledge and understanding to 11 Muarabaru MSMEs regarding the types of fintech, the benefits of fintech for MSMEs, and training in using fintech. The methods used are survey, socialization, education, and training. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase of 50% between before and after service activities. Muarabaru MSMEs knew about fintech and the benefits of fintech for businesses both for lending, payments, transactions, money transfers, saving and investment.
