EDUKASI PENANGANAN DISMENORE PADA REMAJA PUTRI

Abstrak: Dismenore merupakan istilah medis yang terjadi pada saat menstruasi dan menimbulkan rasa sakit disebabkan oleh terjadinya kontraksi rahim. Dismenore bukanlah suatu penyakit tetapi merupakan masalah yang secara berkala membuat seorang wanita menjadi tidak nyaman selama periode menstruasi. Tujuan pengabdian agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman remaja di Dusun Kelapa Dua tentang penanganan dismenore. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian di Dusun Kelapa Dua, Kecamatan Kairatu, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah remaja putri yang berada di wilayah Dusun Kelapa Dua sebanyak 36 remaja. Kegiatan diawali dengan pembukaan, penyajiaan materi, dan diskusi. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan penyuluhan adalah sebanyak 91,6% remaja yang memberikan tanggapan yang positif dan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang dismenore dan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dari rata-rata skro 5.28 menjadi 7.47 yang terlihat dari adanya antusias remaja ketika mendengarkan materi dan menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan serta daya tarik yang besar untuk menerapkan apa yang terlah diberikan.

Abstract: Dysmenorrhea is a medical term that occurs during menstruation and causes pain caused by uterine contractions. Dysmenorrhea is not a disease but a problem that periodically makes a woman feel uncomfortable during her menstrual period. The purpose of this community service is to increase the understanding of adolescents in Kelapa Dua Hamlet about the handling of dysmenorrhea. The implementation of service activities, namely Kelapa Dua Hamlet, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency. Partners in this activity are young women who are in the Dusun Kelapa Dua area as many as 36 teenagers. The activity begins with the opening, presentation of material, and discussion. The final result of the counseling activity was as many as 91.6% of adolescents who gave positive responses and experienced an increase in understanding about dysmenorrhea and an increase in knowledge from an average score of 5.28 to 7.47 which was seen from the enthusiasm of adolescents when listening to the material and answering the questions asked and great appeal to apply what has been given.
