Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic is sweeping across the world, including in Indonesia. With this pandemic, Large-Scale Social Restrictions were imposed. The social impact of the PSBB is the spread of layoffs in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. To deal with high irritation, we hold welding training. The goal is to add hard skills in the field of welding. The target is residents around the campus of the National University. The training method combines bold for welding theory and a self-contained method for welding practice. Forty-one participants successfully attended the training. The results of the exercise showed significant improvement for the participants. Based on the results of the initial test, it showed a value of 57.32%, and the final test was 74.88%, or an increase of 30.64%.
