STRATEGI PENCARIAN TOPIC PENELITIAN LUKA: LANGKAH AWAL APLIKASI EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE

Abstrak: Perawat klinis saat ini diharapkan untuk menerapakan Evidence Based Practice Nursing (EBPN), saat melakukan implementasi keperawatan. EBPN ini berasal dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh perawat, namun sulitnya menemukan ide atau topik penelitian menyebabkan minat melakukan penelitaian masih sedikit. Untuk itu perawat memerlukan kemampuan proses pencarian literasi yang cepat dan tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam memahami kata kunci, dan mencari literasi dalam mesin pencarian. Metode yang digunakan dengan pemaparan materi, dan praktikum langsung di mesin pencarian serta mereview artikel penelitian. Mitra pada kegiatan adalah organisasi InWOCNA DPW Sumatera Selatan, terdiri dari perawat klinis yang berkerja di instansi rumah sakit dan perawat yang membuka praktik mandiri, dengan jumlah 12 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian di evaluasi dengan pre-test dan post-test, didapatkan hasil adanya peningkatan pemahaman dengan rentang skor 2-3, dan peserta juga menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat terutama dalam menentukan topik penelitian.

Abstract: Clinical nurses are currently expected to apply Evidence Based Practice Nursing (EBPN). This EBPN comes from research conducted by nurses, but the difficulty in finding ideas or research topics, causes little interest in conducting research. Nurses need the ability to searching some article quickly and precisely. This activity aims to improve nurse ability to understand keywords, and search for literacy in search engines. Team giving explanation to use search engine and reviewing research articles both qualitative and quantitative. Partners in this activity is InWOCNA South Sumatera, which consist of clinical nurses who work in hospital and nurses who open independent practices, with a total of 12 people. Community service activities were evaluated by pre-test and post-test, the result was an increase in understanding with a score range of 2-3, and participants also said that this activity was very useful, especially in determining research topics.
