PENYULUHAN PERINEAL HYGIENE PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN UNTUK MENJAGA KEBERSIHAN ORGAN KEWANITAAN

Abstract

Abstrak: Perineal Hygiene merupakan salah satu upaya merawat diri yang bertujuan untuk membersihkan kotoran dan bau dari daerah perineum serta mencegah terjadinya infeksi terutama pada saluran kemih sebagai upaya meningkatkan kenyamanan diri. Di Indonesia, sering ditemui permasalahan kesehatan pada wanita yaitu keputihan hingga infeksi saluran kemih yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran untuk menjaga kebersihan organ kewanitaan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran wanita usia subur terkait perineal hygiene. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan dan sesi tanya jawab. Mitra dalam penyuluhan ini adalah 8 orang wanita usia subur yang merupakan remaja putri Sabilarasyad di daerah Jl. Mendung III, Jebres, Surakarta. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai perineal hygiene pada mitra yang menjadi sasaran dengan persentase hasil evaluasi pre-test yang dikategorikan berpengetahuan sangat rendah, rendah, dan sedang sebesar 62,5% serta berpengetahuan tinggi dan sangat tinggi sebesar 37,5% setelah dilakukan penyuluhan didapatkan persentase hasil evaluasi post-test dengan kategori berpengetahuan sangat rendah, rendah, dan sedang sebesar 37,5% serta berpengetahuan tinggi dan sangat tinggi sebesar 62,5%.

 

Abstract: Perineal hygiene is a self-care effort that aims to clean dirt and odor from the perineal area and prevent infection, especially in the urinary tract to increase self-comfort. In Indonesia, health problems are often in women, namely vaginal discharge and urinary tract infections caused by low knowledge and awareness of maintaining the cleanliness of the female organs. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of women of reproductive age regarding perineal hygiene. The method used in this activity is counseling and a question-and-answer session. The partners in this counseling were eight women of reproductive age who are young women Sabilarasyad in Mendung III Street, Jebres, Surakarta. The results achieved were an increase in knowledge related to perineal hygiene in respondents with the percentage of pre-test results categorized as very low, low, and moderate knowledge of 62.5%; high and very high knowledge of 37.5% after the counseling was carried out the percentage of results post-test with very low, low, and moderate knowledge categories 37.5%; high and very high knowledge 62.5%.
