Hampir 60% lansia mengalami penurunan waktu dalam menyelesaikan Time Up and Go Test, sehingga bisa disimpulkan para lansia mengalami peningkatan keseimbangan.
Abstract: Falls occur due to an accidental loss of balance resulting in a failure of postural stability, or an unexpected and sudden change resulting in a landing on the floor. The elderly are an age group that is prone to falls because of their health status, illnesses and general changes related to aging. The purpose of implementing this service is to detect the risk of falling in the elderly and to provide balance training assistance as an effort to prevent the risk of falling in the elderly. The methods used in this service are socialization, examination and practicum. Service partners with the Rindang Asih II Bongsari Wredha Home, West Semarang District, Semarang City, Central Java with a target of 30 elderly people. Evaluation is carried out by examining the risk of falling after being given balance exercises. Nearly 60% of the elderly experienced a decrease in the time it took to complete the Time Up and Go Test, so it can be concluded that the elderly experienced an increase in balance.
