PEMBUATAN TEKNOLOGI TEPAT GUNA UNTUK PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH PLASTIK

Abstrak : Plastik merupakan material yang berfungsi membantu kehidupan manusia dari segala aspek, namun karena material tersebut tidak dapat terbiodegradasi, maka sangat berbahaya bagi lingkungan. Pengrajin limbah plastik di Desa Iloponu, yang diketuai oleh Bapak Eka Rahim dan beranggotakan 6 orang, menjadikan limbah tersebut sebagai bahan baku kerajinan tangan yang bernilai jual, tetapi masih terdapat sedikit timbulan plastik dari aktivitas mereka; (2) Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi melalui pembuatan TTG berupa alat pencacah plastik, serta perawatannya; (3) Metode kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu pra kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi , dengan melibatkan pemerintah Desa Iloponu, Kecamatan Tibawa. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan pasca pendistribusian alat dengan melihat apakah ada kerusakan pada alat, apabila terdapat keruskan, maka tim langsung memperbaikinya; dan (4) Hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh adalah masyarakat pengrajin limbah plastik terbantu dengan adanya alat yang diberikan oleh tim pengabmas, sebagai solusi mengatasi limbah plastik yang timbul dari aktivitas mereka. Dimana, 35% limbah yang tidak terapakai dapat diolah melalui tongpas dan alat pencacah plastik.
Abstract:Â Plastic is a material that functions to help human life from all aspects, but because this material cannot be biodegraded, it is very dangerous for the environment. The plastic waste craftsmen in Iloponu Village, chaired by Mr. Eka Rahim and have 6 members, make this waste a valuable raw material for handicrafts, but there is still a small amount of plastic generated from their activities; (2) The purpose of this service is to provide solutions to the problems faced by making TTG in the form of a plastic chopper, as well as its maintenance; (3) This activity method consists of 3 stages, namely pre-activity, implementation of activities, and evaluation, involving the government of Iloponu Village, Tibawa District. The evaluation stage is carried out after the distribution of the tools to see if there is damage to the tools, if there is damage, the team immediately fixes it; and (4) The results of the activities obtained are that the plastic waste craftsman community is assisted by the tools provided by the community service team, as a solution to dealing with plastic waste arising from their activities. Where, 35% of unused waste can be processed through tongpas and plastic choppers.
