Abstract: The village of Darmayasa is planning to build a village market. Besides its benefits, the market also has the potential for issues, such as the generation of waste, especially plastic waste that cannot decompose on the ground. The Community Service Team from UMY mapped the technology needs for plastic waste processing, then designed and made equipment to process plastic waste from the market and household waste. The goal of this activity is to design and make plastic waste processing equipment to reduce its impact on the environment and also improve the welfare of the community in Darmayasa village.
