MEDIA ULAR TANGGA SEBAGAI SARANA EDUKASI GIZI DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN GIZI PADA ANAK

Abstrak: Permasalahan gizi seperti wasting, stunting, dan underweight merupakan permasalahan yang masih banyak terjadi pada anak usia sekolah baik secara nasional maupun global. Di samping itu, anak usia sekolah merupakan usia pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang penting untuk pola makan gizi seimbang. Sebagai jawaban atas permasalahan yang ada, program media Ular Tangga Gizi bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan atau pengetahuan pada 60 anak usia sekolah dasar untuk paham mengenai pentingnya mencukupi gizi seimbang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode edukasi dan permainan menarik bagi anak sekolah dasar dengan melibatkan guru atau wali kelas dan murid-murid di sekolah dasar. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil yang didapat dengan indikator yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini didapat 100% siswa peserta mengikuti kegiatan edukasi di dalam kelas dan didapatkan juga target keaktifan peserta selama permainan juga tercapai yakni 3 hingga 4 peserta dari indikator 2 peserta aktif.
Abstract: Nutritional problems such as wasting, stunting and underweight are problems that still occur in many school-age children, both nationally and globally. In addition, school-age children are the crucial age of growth and development for a balanced nutritional diet. As the response to the existing problems, the Ular Tangga Gizi media program aims to add knowledge to 60 elementary school-age children to understand the importance of adequate balanced nutrition. This community service was implemented using educational methods and fascinating games for elementary school children by involving teachers and students in elementary schools. The evaluation system was done by comparing the results with the indicators that have been set. Based on the evaluation results of this community service activity that 100% of the participating students took part in educational activities in the classroom and also achieved the target of participant activity rate during the game time that is approximately 3 to 4 participants from the indicators of 2 active participants.
