Abstract: Feed is a crucial need that is needed in fish farming. The need for feed in business can reach 60% of the total production cost. The high price of manufactured feed in the market has resulted in increased production costs thereby reducing farmers' income, these conditions require innovation to overcome these problems. Pokdakan "Tiara Jaya" located in Bayeun Village, East Aceh District as a small and medium enterprise (UKM) really needs a solution to dependence on manufactured feed. The team proposing Science and Technology Development for Society (PPIBM) Universitas Samudra made an innovation using a self-sufficient gasoline-based feed making machine. The purpose of this activity is to make UMKM able to produce feed independently with the application of existing science and technology. The method used in this service is the Participatory-based Community Empowerment method, namely the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), which involves partners actively engaging with the PKM Team. This activity involved 11 partner members, 3 lecturers and 3 students. Based on the results of an evaluation carried out by looking at the level of ability in processing catfish feed, partner human resources experienced an increase in skill by 80%. The assessment is based on the results of the questionnaire analysis that was distributed before and after the activity, including skills in choosing feed ingredients, modifying feed ingredients and processing feed. Based on program evaluation, the cost of producing independent feed is relatively more economical than manufactured feed.
