OPTIMALISASI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN FISIK DAN MENTAL IBU HAMIL SERTA KESEHATAN JANIN DENGAN PENERAPAN PELATIHAN PRENATAL YOGA

Abstrak: Pada kegiatan kelas ibu hamil, edukasi tentang prenatal yoga jarang atau bahkan tidak diinformasikan, sehingga banyak ibu hamil yang belum mengetahui tentang prenatal yoga serta manfaatnya. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah 12 ibu hamil di Kelurahan Gambut dapat memahami dan mengimplementasikan kegiatan prenatal yoga secara mandiri. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu advokasi dan persiapan; pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan prenatal yoga yang terdiri dari pemberian soal pre-test dan post-test, materi dan demonstrasi prenatal yoga; dan evaluasi kegiatan yaitu meskipun ada hambatan tetapi semua peserta dapat hadir dan antusias saat kegiatan berlangsung. Ada peningkatan nilai rerata pre-test 81,57 menjadi 91,76 pada nilai post-test, serta semua peserta mengikuti demonstrasi prenatal yoga dengan baik.
Abstract: In classes for pregnant women, education about prenatal yoga is rarely or even not informed, therefore many pregnant women do not know about prenatal yoga and its benefits. The purpose of this community service is that pregnant women can understand and implement prenatal yoga activities independently. The methods used are advocacy and preparation; implementation of prenatal yoga training activities consisting of giving pre-test and post-test questions, education and prenatal yoga demonstrations; and evaluation of activities, that is, even though there were obstacles, all participants were able to attend and were enthusiastic when the activity took place. There was an increase in the pre-test average score from 81.57 to 91.76 in the post-test score, and all participants took part in the prenatal yoga demonstration well.
