EDUKASI DAN PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN HOME REMEDIES UNTUK MENGURANGI MASALAH KESEHATAN MENTAL

Abstrak: Masalah kesehatan mental merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan nasional yang masuk dalam prioritas program kesehatan nasional. Fakta menjukkan bahwa 1 dari 3 remaja dengan usia 10-19 tahun di Indonesia mengalami masalah kesehatan mental. MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin merupakan salah satu sekolah percontohan dengan berbagai kegiatan akademik yang diantaranya dapat menjadi faktor pencetus terjadinya gangguan kesehatan mental seperti academic stress dan bullying. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental serta memberikan pelatihan pembuatan home remedies sebagai terapi sederhana untuk membantu mengurangi masalah kesehatan mental. Mitra pada pengadian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin berjumlah 37 siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemberian penyuluhan, hipnomotivasi, diikuti dengan pelatihan pembuatan home remedies. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan PKM ini yaitu mitra mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan terkait kesehatan mental yang ditunjukkan dari peningkatkan rata-rata nilai pre-test dan post-test sebesar 33% serta keterampilan dalam pembuatan home remedies yang dapat digunakan untuk terapi alternatif dalam mengurangi masalah kesehatan mental.
Abstract: Mental health disorders are national health problems that are included in the priorities of the national health program. It is reported that one in three adolescents aged 10-19 in Indonesia experience mental health disorders. It is known that school is a risk factor for mental health disorders. MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin is a school with various academic activities that can trigger mental health disorders such as academic stress and bullying. The implementation of this community service activity (PKM) aims to provide education related to the importance of maintaining mental health and training in making home remedies as a simple therapy to help reduce mental health problems. A total of 37 students from the MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin participated in this public service. The methods used were counseling and hypnomotivation followed by training in making home remedies. The results obtained from this PKM are that partners gain knowledge related to mental health, as shown by an increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores by 33%, and skills in making home remedies that can be used for alternative therapy in reducing mental health problems.
