Abstract: The city of Yogyakarta has several villages located on the riverbanks, one of which is the village of Ngadimulyo, Pakuncen Village, Wirobrajan District. Ngadimulyo was chosen as the target location for the activity because based on survey results it still has complex problems in environmental management and economic problems. The density of settlements in this area threatens the sustainability of the river and the loss of green open space. The purpose of this service activity is carried out as an effort to support the preservation of rivers, prevent floods and increase the economic level of the community through activities that pay attention to ecological balance. Service activities are carried out in the form of training, assistance to the community and the establishment of the Ngadimulyo vegetable village. The number of service targets, namely the Ngadimulyo people who live around the riverbanks, is 25 people. The method used is the ecobehavior approach, which is a form of ecological integration and community participation. The results of the service showed that the level of community knowledge about ecobehavior-based river management reached 88%, and increased knowledge about vegetable villages and planting techniques after training reached 92%. The success of the program requires commitment from all parties including the community, hamlet heads and academics in providing ongoing assistance.
