Abstract: Self-care is needed for heart failure patients to prevent relapse and re-hospitalization. Self-care management of heart failure sufferers is the ability to manage themselves and can be improved through education provided by health cadres. Providing training to cadres aims to realize the independence of cadres when carrying out their roles and functions in shaping public health. The objective of this study is to enhance the understanding and proficiency of health cadres in the self-care management of patients with heart failure. The employed approach entails the dissemination of health education using various instructional techniques such as lectures, interactive question and answer sessions, group discussions, practical simulations, and subsequent re-demonstrations. These methods serve as an effective means of evaluating the proficiency of health cadres. The results obtained are increased knowledge of cadres regarding self-care management of heart failure patients.
