EDUKASI PERAN IBU DALAM PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DARI MASA KEHAMILAN SAMPAI DENGAN MASA MENYUSUI

Abstract

Abstrak: Stunting merupakan malnutrisi kronis yang bisa menyebabkan gangguan kemampuan perkembangan, kognitif serta kesejahteraan jangka panjang. Salah satu penyebab kasus stunting adalah perilaku kesehatan selama kehamilan sampai menyusui. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah salah satu upaya optimalisasi perilaku positif dalam bidang kesehatan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan peran ibu hamil dalam pencegahan stunting selama masa kehamilan sampai dengan masa menyusui. Metode dari kegiatan ini berupa seminar yang didalamnya terdapat pemberian materi oleh pakar. Mitra yang menjadi sasaran adalah ibu hamil di Kota Salatiga sejumlah 33 orang. Hasil yang dicapai adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah kegiatan, dimana nilai rerata pretest adalah 6,93 dan posttest adalah 8,90.

Abstract: Stunting is chronic malnutrition that can cause impaired developmental abilities, cognitive abilities and long-term well-being. One of the causes of stunting cases is health behavior during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The purpose of this activity is one of the efforts to optimize positive behavior in the health sector by increasing the knowledge and role of pregnant women in preventing stunting during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The method of this activity is in the form of a seminar in which there is the provision of material by experts. Partners who were targeted were pregnant women in the city of Salatiga, a total of 33 people. The results achieved were an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women after the activity, where the mean value of the pretest was 6.93 and the posttest was 8.90.
