PEMBERDAYAAN KADER UNTUK PEMANTAUAN MAKANAN TAMBAHAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEHATAN IBU HAMIL KURANG ENERGI KRONIS

Abstrak: Ibu hamil dengan kurang energi kronis membutuhkan pendamping untuk menolong mereka dalam berusaha meningkatkan status gizi selama kehamilan. Program pemberian makanan tambahan yang diberikan kepada ibu hamil tidak optimal dalam memastikan bahwa konsumsi hanya untuk ibu dan apakah dihabiskan oleh ibu sendiri. Perlunya pemberdayaan kader untuk memantau pemberian makanan tambahan untuk memastikan hal diatas. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan sikap dan kader dalam memantau pemberian makanan tambahan pada ibu hamil. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan instrumen pemantauan makanan tambahan. Evaluasi Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan lebih dari 80 persen jumlah kader yang memiliki memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik terhadap penggunaan instrumen pemantauan makanan tambahan pada ibu hamil kurang energi kronis.
Abstract: Pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency need a companion to assist them in fighting so that they can improve their nutritional status during pregnancy, the supplementary food program given to pregnant women is not optimal in ensuring that consumption is only to the mother and whether it is spent. The a need to empower cadres to monitor the provision of additional food to pregnant women. The purpose of community service activities is to increase the knowledge of attitudes and cadres in monitoring supplementary food in pregnant women. Methods of socialization and assistance in the use of monitoring instruments. The results showed an increase in the number of cadres who had good knowledge and attitudes toward more than 70 percent of the use of supplementary food monitoring instruments in chronically energy-deficient pregnant women.
