Abstract: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is still an infectious disease problem that requires action to be resolved. Even though counseling and information about the prevention and eradication of the infectious disease Dengue hemorrhagic fever has been frequently carried out, this disease is still a disease that is feared by the public because it can have fatal consequences, namely death. Deaths due to Dengue hemorrhagic fever often occur due to public delays in finding out the diagnosis of the disease, so that sufferers are taken to health services (hospitals) too late. This research aims to determine health cadres' knowledge about Dengue hemorrhagic fever and provide tourniquet test training to health cadres. Activity methods include lectures, counseling as well as simulations and training. There were 20 participants who attended, consisting of health cadres supported by the Head of Plosowahyu Village, and the Village Midwife. The results of the initial evaluation (pre-test) showed that 80% of participants had poor knowledge and 60% had good knowledge after the post-test in understanding the early signs and symptoms of Dengue hemorrhagic fever. Apart from that, most participants did not know how to carry out a tourniquet test. After being given counseling and tourniquet test simulations, there was a significant change where the cadres came to know and understand about Dengue hemorrhagic fever and simple early detection methods that can be done before referring sufferers to health services.
