Abstract: Katuk (Sauropus androgynus) is a traditional medicinal plants, particularly in Indonesia's planted family medicine gardens (TOGA). Nevertheless, utilizing katuk leaves as a supplementary measure for anemia prevention should be explored in more efforts. Community service aims to enhance endeavors to prevent anemia utilizing katuk leaves among the residents of Sembungharjo Permai Housing (RW 8) in Semarang. Assessment of enhanced public knowledge following education conducted using a questionnaire. The inhabitants of RW VIII participated in the event, with 72 individuals. Among the attendees, 55.6% were women and 44.4% were males. Notably, the age group with the highest representation was individuals between 41 and 50, accounting for 48.6% of the participants. The community exhibited high enthusiasm in their active engagement with the healthy heart workout, which the teacher expertly facilitated. The findings from the health status assessment utilizing the BMI indicated that 38.57% of the individuals surveyed fell into the obese classification. In comparison, 35.71% were categorized as having a normal BMI. According to the findings from the blood pressure measurements, it was observed that 50.91% of the participants fell under the pre-hypertension classification. Additionally, the participants' average Hb level was also determined. The typical range for the category in question is 12.2 g/dL, with a reference range of 9.5-14.0 g/dL. The educational participants' degree of knowledge regarding the nutrition and benefits of katuk leaves for anemia was 63.4%. The dissemination of knowledge about the utilization of katuk leaves is anticipated to enhance endeavors in anemia prevention through the utilization of familial medicinal plants (TOGA) cultivated in the vicinity of residential dwellings.
