PENINGKATAN LITERASI BAGI SISWA SMA MELALUI PELATIHAN PENYUSUNAN LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstrak: Literature Review merupakan salah satu jenis karya tulis ilmiah. Ketrampilan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah merupakan kompetensi dasar yang ada dalam kurikulum bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMA. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara mitra di SMAS Sayyid Yusuf, Kecamatan Talango, Kabupaten Sumenep, kegiatan penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah belum menjadi kegiatan rutin. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dirancang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan ketrampilan siswa dalam literasi dengan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah. Pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah akan membantu siswa terbiasa untuk menyajikan gagasannya secara terstruktur dan sistematis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menggunakan Model Latihan Partisipatif (Participatory Training Model). Kegiatan pelatihan meliputi pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur hasil pemahaman peserta, ceramah materi dan diskusi. Peserta kegiatan ini sebanyak 20 orang siswa. Materi yang diberikan adalah penyusunan LR dan salah satu tema yang diangkat adalah mikroba patogen. Tema ini dipilih untuk menambah pengetahuan siswa mengenai mikroba patogen yang mengancam kesehatan manusia. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkannya pengetahuan mengenai LR sebesar 27% dan motivasi siswa dalam penyusunan LR.
Abstract: Literature Review is one type of scientific writing. The skill of compiling scientific papers is a basic competency in the Indonesian language curriculum at the high school level. Based on the results of partner interviews at Sayyid Yusuf SMAS, Talango District, Sumenep Regency, the preparation of scientific papers has not become a routine activity. Therefore, this activity was designed with the aim to increasing students' motivation and literacy skills by compiling scientific papers. Write of scientific papers will help students get used to presenting their ideas in a structured and systematic way. Community service activities use the Participatory Training Model. The training activities were included pre-test and post-test to measuring the results of participants' understanding, lecture material and discussion. The participants of this activity were 20 students. The material given is the preparation of LR and one of the themes raised is pathogenic microbes. This theme was chosen to increase students' knowledge about pathogenic microbes that threaten human health. The results achieved in this activity weree increasing knowledge about LR by 27% and students' motivation in preparing LR.
