EDUKASI PERSONS REFERENCES UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG KEAMANAN VAKSINASI COVID-19

Abstrak: Pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap pentingya vaksinasi untuk menghentikan pandemi Covid 19 masih rendah. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyaknya masyarakat yang menolak untuk melakukan vaksin. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra terhadap pentingnya melakukan vaksinasi. Setelah mendapatkan sosialisasi diharapkan tokoh masyarakat mampu menggerakkan masyarakat luas agar mau melakukan vaksin secara suka rela. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui sosialisasi legalitas, komposisi, indikasi, kehalalan, efek samping serta cara pemberian vaksin Covid-19 kepada mitra. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi kepada sejumlah elemen tokoh masyarakat yang menjadi sasaran, selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran pengetahuan sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (post-test) sosialisasi tentang materi yang disampaikan. Sasaran kegiatan ini sebanyak 35 orang yang terdiri dari kepala dusun, kader kesehatan, tokoh agama, dan tokoh masyarakat. Mitra yang terlibat antara lain Universitas Qamarul Huda Badaruddin Bagu, UPTD Puskesmas Bagu, dan Pemerintah desa Bagu. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan ini antara lain: Pertama, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat sebesar 66% terhadap pentingnya vaksinasi. Kedua, adanya komitmen bersama antara pemerintah desa dengan tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat untuk siap divaksinasi.

Abstract: Public knowledge of the importance of vaccination to stop the Covid-19 pandemic is still low. This is proven by the number of people who refuse to vaccinate. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge about the importance of vaccination. After receiving the socialization, it is hoped that the community leaders will be able to mobilize the wider community to voluntarily carry out the vaccine. This community service activity is carried out through the socialization of legality, composition, indications, halalness, side effects, and how to administer the Covid-19 vaccine to community leaders. The target of this activity was 35 people consisting of village heads, health cadres, religious leaders, and community leaders. Partners involved include the University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin Bagu, UPTD Puskesmas Bagu, and the village government of Bagu. The results achieved in this activity include: First, there is an increase in the knowledge of community leaders about the importance of vaccination. Second, there is a joint commitment between the village government and community leaders to be ready to be vaccinated
