Abstract: The problem raised in this service is the lack of understanding and participation of Generation Z in the cocoa plantation sector in Indonesia. A study states that the majority of cocoa farmers are over 40 years old. This is not in line with Indonesia's achievement as the sixth largest country in world cocoa production. In addition, in 2015, Indonesia has also ratified the global sustainable development agenda or the Sustainable Development Goals. One of the goals of the SDGs is to support sustainable agriculture. The solution to this problem is by providing education and outreach to high school students and students throughout the city of Surakarta as many as 108 participants. Understanding and awareness of the great opportunities in the Indonesian cocoa plantation sector is the main goal of service. This activity is carried out online for one day. In addition, there is assistance to the participants in understanding the material provided. The resource persons in this activity came from practitioners and academics. After education and socialization, 84.75% of participants had understood the material regarding the Indonesian cocoa plantation sector, where previously only 39.76% were obtained. This shows that these educational and outreach activities have opened the understanding of Generation Z to the cocoa plantation sector in Indonesia.
