EDUKASI “LANSIA AKTIF DAN SEHATâ€: LATIHAN DAN OLAHRAGA AMAN DAN NYAMAN BAGI LANSIA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstrak: Tetap menjaga aktivitas fisik yang dikemas dalam bentuk latihan atau olahraga pada lansia di masa pandemi ini menjadi penting. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terhadap pentingnya aktivitas fisik disertai bentuk latihan atau olahraga berbasis rumah yang dapat dilakukan secara mandiri oleh lansia di Karang Werdha “PERMADIâ€, Kelurahan Tlogomas, Kota Malang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk edukasi ini menggunakan metode sokratik (two way method) yang lebih mengedepankan komunikasi dua arah dengan khalayak sasaran, materi disampaikan dengan ceramah disertai dengan curah pendapat dan demonstrasi. Model evaluasi ex-post digunakan untuk menilai kesesuaian antara hasil kegiatan dengan tujuannya. Sebanyak 32 peserta dari total 36 peserta (88,89%) merasakan bahwa materi kegiatan yang disampaikan bermanfaat menambah pengetahuan mereka, dan seluruh peserta (100%) menyampaikan materi yang disampaikan juga sudah sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian berhasil memberikan pemahaman pentingnya latihan fisik atau olahraga selama pandemi COVID-19 dan menghasilkan panduan agar dapat melakukan latihan atau olahraga secara mandiri di rumah atau di luar ruangan.
Abstract: Maintaining physical activity that is packaged in the form of sports or exercise for the elderly during this pandemi is important. This community service activity aims to provide education about the importance of physical activity accompanied by exercises at home or sports that can be done independently by the elderly in Karang Werdha "PERMADI", Tlogomas Village, Malang City. This community service activity in the form of education uses the Socratic method (two-way method) which prioritizes two-way communication with the target audience, the material is delivered through lectures accompanied by brainstorming and demonstrations. The ex-post evaluation model is used to assess the suitability between the results of the activity and its objectives. A total of 32 participants out of a total of 36 participants (88.89%) felt that the material presented was useful to increase knowledge, and all participants (100%) conveyed that the material presented was also in accordance with the desired needs. Service activities have succeeded in providing an understanding of the importance of physical exercise or sports during the COVID-19 pandemi and resulted in guidelines for being able to exercise or exercise independently at home or outdoors.
