PENERAPAN PEER GROUP SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SANTRI KORBAN BULLYING DI PESANTREN

Abstrak: Bullying menjadi salah satu bentuk perilaku kekerasan yang sering dialami remaja. Bullying berupa perilaku intimidasi dalam bentuk perkataan verbal, fisik, psikologis dan sosial. Tindakan bullying dapat menyebabkan penurunan kepercayaan diri pada korbannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri santri korban bullying dipesantren. Pertama, tim melakukan skrining victim bullying kepada seluruh santri. Selanjutnya, menilai kepercayaan diri korban bullying sebelum peer group kemudian diberikan intervensi peer group. Terakhir, menilai kembali kepercayaan diri korban bullying setelah peer group. Mitra kegiatan adalah Pondok Hafshawaty Pesantren Zainul Hasan sejumlah 55 santri. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan skor rata-rata kepercayan diri korban bullying sebelum dan setelah peer group mengalami peningkatan skor 6,86 dengan nilai Ï value sebesar 0,000 sehingga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh peer group terhadap kepercayaan diri santri korban bullying. Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan santri mengikuti kegiatan dengan aktif dan menyimak dengan seksama. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadikan santri sebagai role model bagi para korban bullying di lingkungan pesantren.
Abstract: Bullying is a form of violent behavior that is often experienced at a adolescent. Bullying can be in the form of intimidating behavior in the form of verbal, physical, psychological and social words. Bullying can cause a decrease self confidence for the victims. This activity aims to increase the confidence of victims bullying in Islamic boarding schools. First, the team screened victims of bullying for all students. Furthermore, assessing the self confidence of victims of bullying before the peer group is then given peer group intervention. Lastly, reassess the self onfidence of the victims of bullying after the peer group. The partner of this activity is Pondok Hafshawaty Zainul Hasan Islamic Boarding School with a total of 55 students. The results of this activity showed an increase in the average score of the self confidence of students who were victims of bullying before and after the peer group experienced an increase in the score of 6.86 with a value of 0.000, indicating that there was an influence of peer groups on the self-confidence of students who were victims of bullying. In addition, the results of observations showed that students participated in activities actively and listened carefully. This activity is expected to make students as role models for victims of bullying in the pesantren environment.
