Abstrak: Kegiatan presensi di SD PK Muhammadiyah Abepura menggunakan sistem konvensional yakni dilakukan dengan memanggil peserta didik satu per satu kemudian pencatatan hanya dibuku oleh guru. Hal ini membuat mitra belum siap beradaptasi pada keadaan force mejeur seperti pandemi COVID 19 dan sistem pembelajaran baru di era new normal. Maka diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat mengatur proses presensi menjadi lebih akurat dan efisien. Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk membantu peserta pelatihan lebih memahami mengenai konsep sistem presensi SMS gateway dan mengetahui bagaimana langkah-konkrit mengaplikasikannya kedalam manajerial sekolah. Kegiaatan PkM dihadiri oleh 13 peserta dengan metode pelaksanaan meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) Persiapan, berupa identifikasi dan materi kebutuhan mitra; (2) Pelaksanaa, berupa workshop dan diskusi menghasilkan analisis kebutuhan awal sistem sesuai kebutuhan mitra; (3) Evaluasi, berupa penugasan dan diskusi yang menghasilkan rekomendasi teknologi tepat guna. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemahaman peserta meningkat 12% menjadi 89%, menghasilkan rekomendasi dan desain prototipe sistem presensi akademik online berbasis SMS gateway.

Abstract: Attendance activities at SD PK Muhammadiyah Abepura use a conventional system, which is done by calling students one by one and then recording is only recorded by the teacher. This makes partners not ready to adapt to force majeure situations such as the COVID 19 pandemic and new learning systems in the new normal era. So we need a tool that can regulate the attendance process to be more accurate and efficient. The purpose of this PkM activity is to help trainees better understand the concept of the SMS gateway presence system and know how to apply it in concrete steps to school management. PkM activities were attended by 13 participants with the implementation method covering several stages, namely: (1) Preparation, in the form of identification and material needs of partners; (2) Implementation, in the form of workshops and discussions resulting in an analysis of initial system requirements according to the needs of partners; (3) Evaluation, in the form of assignments and discussions that produce recommendations for appropriate technology. The results obtained from this activity are that participants' understanding increased by 12% to 89%, resulted in recommendations and prototype designs for online academic attendance systems based on SMS gateways.
