PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI FILTER UDARA PADA RUANG KELAS DALAM PENCEGAHAN COVID-19

Abstrak:Corona virus disease19 atau yang biasa dikenal dengan sebutan COVID-19 merupakan sebuah virus baru yang mengakibatkan penyakit saluran pernapasan (seperti flu) dengan gejala seperti batuk, demam, dan pada kasus yang lebih parah, pneumonia. Di Provinsi NTT, kasus Covid-19 masih mengalami peningkatan hingga bulan April 2021. Dengan adanya kebijakan pemerintah untuk kembali melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar secara luring, maka sekolah perlu menyiapkan berbagai hal khususnya terkait dengan pencegahan covid-19. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan filter udara di setiap ruangan kelas. Agar dapat menerapkan teknologi tersebut, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi baik untuk penggunaan maupun untuk perawatan alat. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi google meetdan diikuti oleh 17 siswa dan 7 orang guruSMP Kupang Montesori. Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi, dilaksanakan penyerahan alat filter udara yang akan disumbangkan untuk sekolah tersebut. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kegiatan pengabdian berjalan baik dan sesuai dengan rencana awal kegiatan.
Abstract:Coronavirus disease19 or commonly known as COVID-19 is a new virus that causes respiratory tract diseases (such as flu) with symptoms such as cough, fever, and in more severe cases, pneumonia. In NTT Province, Covid-19 cases are still increasing until April 2021. With the government's policy to resume teaching and learning activities offline, schools need to prepare various things, especially related to the prevention of COVID-19. One of the things that can be done is to use air filters in every classroom. To be able to apply this technology, it is necessary to conduct socialization both for the use and for maintenance of tools. The socialization activity was carried out online through the google meet application and was attended by 17 students and 7 teachers of Kupang Montesori Junior High School. After the socialization activity, the air filter equipment was handed over to be donated to the school. The results of the evaluation of this service activity indicate that overall service activities are going well and by the initial plan of activity.
