This study aims to test the effect of competence and career development on employee performance in PD. BPR NTB Mataram Selong Branch, Dasan Lekong and Aikmel Branch. The number of samples in this study amounted to 37 respondents and the sampling technique used the Non-probability sampling. The analysis used is a multiple linear regression test analysis. Data collection tecniques used are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires countaining questions about competence, career development and employee performance. The results of this study show that ; (1)Competence has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, (2) Career development variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kompetensi dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PD.BPR NTB Mataram Cabang Selong, Dasan Lekong dan Cabang Aikmel. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 37 responden dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Non-peobability sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis uji regresi linier berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawaancara, dokumentasi dan kuisioner yang berisi pertanyaan tentang kompetensi, pengembangan karir dan kinerja karyawan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
