Analysis of Livelihoods and Contributions on Fishermen's Household Income In Langgudu District Bima Regency

Abstract

Abstract:  This aims of this research are to: (1) identify the types of income sources for fishermen's households  (2) Analyze the income of each source of income and its contribution to fisherman household income in Langgudu District, Bima Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method, while data collection is done by survey technique. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that: (1) There are 4 (four) main sources of livelihood for fishermen households in Langgudu District, Bima Regency, namely: (a) micro fishermen (15 DWT boats), (b) micro fishermen (7.5 DWT boats), ( c) micro fishermen (4.5 DWT boats), and (d) fishing workers. In addition, there are other sources of income such as fish traders, crew members, construction workers, carpenters and teachers. (2) The average household income of micro fishermen is around Rp 9,247,311.56/month – Rp 58,128,872.85/month. The contribution of each source of income to fisherman households in Langgudu District is detailed as follows: (a) The contribution of micro fishing businesses (15 DWT boats) to household income is 95.53% (Rp 55,528,872.85/month), (b) Micro fishing business (7.5 DWT boats) to household income of 94.72%(Rp 40,359,484.58/month), (c) Micro fishing business (4.5 DWT boats) tohousehold income by 18.62% (Rp 1.721.811.56/month), and (d) fishermanlabor to household income by 48.28% (Rp 1.680.000/month).
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis sumber pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan (2) Menganalisis pendapatan masing-masing sumber pendapatan dan kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga nelayandi Kecamatan Langgudu Kabupaten Bima. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah metode deskriptif, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat 4 (empat) sumber mata pencaharian utama rumah tangga nelayan di Kecamatan Langgudu Kabupaten Bima, yaitu: (a) nelayan mikro (15 kapal DWT),(b) nelayan mikro (kapal 7,5 DWT). ), (c) nelayan mikro (4,5 DWT perahu), dan(d) nelayan pekerja. Selain itu, ada sumber pendapatan lain seperti pedagang ikan,awak kapal, buruh bangunan, tukang kayu dan guru. (2) Rata-rata pendapatan rumahtangga nelayan mikro berkisar Rp 9.247.311,56/bulan – Rp 58.128.872,85/bulan. Kontribusi masing-masing sumber pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan di KabupatenLanggudu adalah sebagai berikut: (a) Kontribusi usaha mikro perikanan(15 kapal DWT) terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga adalah 95,53% (Rp 55.528.872,85/bulan), (b) Penangkapan ikan mikro usaha (kapal 7,5 DWT) terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar 94,72% (Rp 40.359.484,58/bulan), (c) Usaha mikro perikanan (4,5 DWT kapal)terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar 18,62% (Rp 1.721.811,56/bulan), dan(d) nelayan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar 48,28% (Rp 1.680.000/bulan).
