Abstrak: Penelitian mengenai sistem Boarding School untuk pengembangan karakter siswa di SMK Rahmatan Lil’Alamin. Dengan menggunakan metode ini, guru dan murid / siswa bertempat tinggal bersama-sama selama 24 Jam, dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa selama berada dalam satu tempat bersam guru. Menggunakan sistem Boarding ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaanya serta unuk mengetahui perubahan prilaku peserta didik dengan menggunakan sistem Boarding School. Metode yang gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitaif, adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Observasi, Wawancara atau Interview serta Dokumentasi. Untuk memperoleh dari hasil wawancara diperlukan analisis data secara kualitatif terdiri dari yakni Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data serta Verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Adapun subyek penelitiannya adalah siswa SMK Rahmatan Lil’Alamin Alas Barat Kabupaten Sumbawa semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Pengembnagan karakter siswa terlihat setelah dilakukanuya sistem Boarding ini dengan adanya rasa tanggung jawab siswa terhadap tugas yang diberikan oleh guru, rasa saling membantu, saling menghargai dan terlebih adanya kebersamaan dalam setiap kegiatan seperti sholat berjamaah tepat waktu, sholat dhuha sebelum melakukan rutinitas serta adanya rasa nasionalisme
Abstract: Â Research on the Boarding School system for developing student character at Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Vocational School. By using this method, teachers and students live together for 24 hours, with the aim of developing student character while in the same place with the teacher. Using this Boarding system to find out how it is implemented and to find out changes in student behavior using the Boarding School system. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, while the data collection technique used is observation, interview or interview and documentation. To obtain the results of the interviews, it is necessary to analyze the data qualitatively, consisting of data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusions. The research subjects were students of SMK Rahmatan Lil'Alamin Alas Barat, Sumbawa Regency, odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The development of student character can be seen after carrying out this boarding system with a sense of student responsibility for the tasks given by the teacher, a sense of mutual assistance, mutual respect and especially the presence of togetherness in every activity such as congregational prayers on time, dhuha prayers before carrying out routines and a sense of nationalism
