Abstract

Abstrak:  Kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi berprestasi memungkinkan minat belajar mahasiswa meningkat. Namun diharapkan kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi untuk mencapai minat belajar yang tinggi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan minat belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Statistika I. Data diambil dari mahasiswa program Studi Akuntansi Universitas Pamulang dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik manual untuk menguji hipotesis dengan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh langsung positif dan signifikan pada Minat Belajar, Motivasi Berprestasi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Minat Belajar, dan Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract:  Emotional intelligence and achievement motivation can increase student's interest in learning. But it is expected that high emotional intelligence and achievement motivation to achieve high learning interest as well. This study aims to provide evidence that emotional intelligence and achievement motivation affect the interest in learning in subjects Statistics I. Data taken from the student of Accounting Faculty of Economics, University of Pamulang by using questionnaires and data were analyzed used manual statistical analysis for test the hypothesis with simple regression analysis and path analysis. The result of this research is Emotional Intelligence have direct positive and significant effect on the Interest of Learning, Achievement Motivation have a direct positive and significant effect on the Interest of Learning, and Emotional Intelligence have a direct positive and significant effect on Achievement Motivation.
