EFEKTIFITAS PENGGUNAAN MAKET SEBAGAI METODE PEMBELAJARAN ARSITEKTUR PADA KAJIAN FASAD DINAMIS

Abstrak: Mata kuliah Advanced Environmental System merupakan mata kuliah pilihan yang menawarkan kompetensi lanjutan bagi mahasiswa untuk mempelajari topik tertentu dan penelitian yang lebih mendalam di bidang Ilmu Bangunan. Metode pembelajaran sebelum pandemi covid lebih banyak dilakukan melalui praktik/workshop. Kajian Fasad Dinamis merupakan salah satu topik mata kuliah yang menarik untuk dikaji dalam metode praktik dibandingkan dengan metode lainnya. Workshop Fasad Dinamis dirancang untuk durasi dua minggu. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data dokumen pembelajaran dan metode angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar kuisioner dan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskrisptif kualitatif. Penelitian metode pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model maket melalui kegiatan workshop dengan topik Dynamic Facade, serta (2) mengetahui keefektifan metode workshop dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap topik pembelajaran. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain kegiatan kuliah praktik atau workshop memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memahami topik Fasad Dinamis. Mahasiswa lebih memahami materi pembelajaran melalui kegiatan workshop ini. Pembelajaran dapat lebih kreatif, menarik, dan interaktif dengan menerapkan metode simulasi.
Abstract: Â The Advanced Environmental System course is an elective course that offers advanced competencies for students to study certain topics and more in-depth research in the field of Building Science. The learning method before the covid pandemic was mostly done through practice/workshops. The Study of Dynamic Facades is an interesting subject topic to study in practical methods compared to other methods. The Dynamic Facades Workshop is designed for a duration of two weeks. The data collection method uses learning document data and the questionnaire method. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. This learning method research aims (1) to determine the effectiveness of using mock-ups through workshop activities on the topic of Dynamic Facade, as well as (2) to determine the effectiveness of the workshop methods in increasing student understanding of learning topics. Research shows that the design of practical lectures or workshops makes it easier for students to understand the topic of Dynamic Facades. The students have better understanding in the learning material through this workshop activity. Learning can be more creative, interesting, and interactive by applying the simulation method.
