Abstrak: Dalam keseluruhan proses pendidikan, kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah proses pokok yang harus dilalui oleh seorang pendidik atau guru. Berhasil tidaknya suatu tujuan pendidikan bergantung kepada bagaimana proses belajar mengajar dirancang dan disajikan. Hasil belajar yang rendah dibandingkan dengan pelajaran yang lain, penyebab utamanya terletak pada metode mengajar yang kurang sesuai sehingga anak-anak jenuh mengikuti pelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitiantindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa dikelas XI Ilmu Sosial berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, test dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan ketuntasan klasikal dan ketuntasan individu.
Dari analisis data diperoleh informasi bahwa dengan menggunakan metode Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dalam pembelajaran Geografi terlihat bahwa siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 34 orang (95%) dan hanya 2 orang (5%) yang belum tuntas. Dari kegiatan kelompok tersebut diperoleh kemajuan dari siklus I ke siklus II yakni pada siklus I keaktifan siswa mencari meteri pembelajaran Geografi sebesar 72,50% menjadi 95,00% pada siklus II. Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran metode TPS dengan kemampuan individual dengan standar deviasi 16,67 sedangkan kemampuan kelompok 86,94 sehingga berdasarkan konversi bahwa pada kelompok mempunyai kemampuan tinggi dengan hasil 86,62 dan dapat dikatakan sangat tinggi.

Abstract:. In the whole process of education, teaching and learning activities are the main processes that must be passed by an educator or teacher. The success or failure of an educational goal depends on how the teaching and learning process is designed and presented. Low learning outcomes compared to other lessons, the main cause lies in the method of teaching that is not suitable so that children are saturated to take lessons. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 36 students in class XI of Social Sciences. The method of collecting data uses the method of observation, test, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses classical completeness and individual completeness.
From the data analysis, information was obtained that by using the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) method in Geography learning, it was seen that 34 students (95%) were completed and only two people (5%) were incomplete. From the activities of the group progress was obtained from cycle I to cycle II, namely in the first cycle the activity of students looking for Geography learning method of 72.50% to 95.00% in cycle II. The results of the TPS method learning evaluation with individual abilities with a standard deviation of 16.67 while the group ability is 86.94 so that based on the conversion that in the group has a high ability with 86.62 results and can be said to be very high.References
