Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana meningkatnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP Kelas VII. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 4 PrayaTimur dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan data tes hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yaitu pada siklus I skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 10,33 dengan katagori aktif, sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 66 dan persentase ketuntasannya 77%. Pada siklus II skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 12,68 dengan katagori sangat aktif, sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 73 dan persentase ketuntasannya 91%.

Abstract:. This study aims to determine the extent to which the increased activity and results of junior high school students' mathematics learning Class VII. The type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Praya East with the number of students 22 people consisting of 12 male students and 10 female students. This study uses a quantitative approach. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of student activity observation sheets, and student learning outcomes test data. From the results of the study showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes, namely in the first cycle the average score of student learning activities amounted to 10.33 with active categories, while the average value of student learning outcomes was 66 and the percentage of completeness was 77%. In the second cycle the average score of student learning activities was 12.68 with a very active category, while the average value of student learning outcomes was 73 and the percentage of completeness was 91%.References
