Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi

The main problem in this study is the understanding of the concept of students who are in the low category. Where students have difficulty absorbing material quickly and precisely. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of increasing students' understanding of concepts through the application of the think pair share cooperative learning model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya. The subjects in this study were 36 students in class XI IPS 1. The research method used was quasi-experimental to determine the effect of treatment. Data analysis techniques using validity and reliability tests, normality tests and hypothesis testing. In increasing students' understanding of concepts using the think pair share model, they obtained an average score of 64.7 before the treatment of 36 students with a KKM score of 75. After treatment using the think pair share model, the average score was 88.5. It can be concluded that there is an increase in students' conceptual understanding before and after treatment in class XI IPS 1 by using the think pair share cooperative learning model.References
