Author Guidelines

Article written for ORBITA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Fisika, published the results of discussions and research results in the field of physics and educational physics.

 

A. General Requirements :

The minimum standard requirements of the ORBITA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Fisika must be:

  1. Written in English
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 12 pages for research paper.
  3. The article must include abstract in English (100-250 words) and be following by the keywords (3-5 words).
  4. Use of a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting. The citation must be in the form of in-text and bibliography are based on APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association)
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the ORBITA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Ilmu Fisika template.

 

B. Structure of Manuscript :

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper should describe research aims, method/model, and objective, without Acronym or abbreviation.
  2. Author's name, institution, country, and email address. The author's name (without academic degree), name of institution, country and email address are written under the article title. When the script is written by a team, the editor only deals with the first author or corresponding author. 
  3. Abstract. The Abstract has 100 to 250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes, and results, and the conclusions). The abstract is approximately followed by keywords of 3 to 5 words. 
  4. Introduction. This section describes the background of issues as well as the urgency and rationalization of the research. This section also describes the aims and contributions of research and organization of an article.
  5. Methods. This section describes the research design, scope or object (population and sample), data collection techniques, operational definition of research variables, and analytical techniques.
  6. Result and Discussion. This section presents research analysis results. Tables, graphs (figures), and/or charts can be added to research analysis. The discussion section is describing data processing results, interpreting the findings logically, and linking with the relevant referral sources.
  7. Conclusion. The conclusion contains a brief summary of the research results and discussion which answers the research objectives.
  8. References. The reference list format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style. The reference list should appear at the end of the article and includes only literature actually cited in the manuscripts. References are ordered alphabetically and chronologically. It is suggested to apply reference software like Mendeley, Zotero or Endnote. Expect a minimum of 15 references primarily with a minimum of 80% from reputable journal papers with their DOI or URLs.
