Abstract: Three Generations Park in Balikpapan City has the potential to be used as a tourist spot. However, the energy source and some park facilities are still fully supplied by PLN, causing wasteful costs and ongoing problems, namely the electricity crisis. This service aims to form an energy-independent green open space park by applying Smart Bench technology based on solar cell electricity. The partners of the Balikpapan City Parks UPT, which two managers represented, were involved in this service. The method of implementing this service is applying an intelligent bench product tool for the supply of electrical energy for park facilities, training for partners regarding product operation, counselling on electrical energy conservation for partners. The result of this activity is the availability of 1 (one) multifunctional park bench product as a seat, as a cell phone charger station and as a source of lighting for the garden area. An innovative bench with a capacity of 60 WP/h can reduce electricity operations at partners with an efficiency of around 13-17%. In addition, after the extension, there was a 56% increase in partner knowledge in using solar panels as an alternative source of electricity for public facilities.
