PELATIHAN PENGOLAHAN RUMPUT LAUT UNTUK MENDUKUNG PENGEMBANGAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

ABSTRAK
COVID-19 merupakan salah satu ancaman bagi masyarakat terutama pada masalah ekonomi, untuk mencegah hal tersebut masyarakat perlu menghasilkan pendapatan tambahan. Pola mata pencaharian di Desa Raja sangat terkait dengan sumberdaya laut. Untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah, maka dilakukan pengembangan usaha budidaya rumput laut. Mengingat semakin pentingnya kegiatan ekonomi kreatif terutama pada usaha mikro, maka perlu adanya penerapan ipteks pada ibu-ibu kelompok majelis taklim  dalam membuat produk berbahan dasar rumput laut.  Metode Kegiatan ini melibatkan ibu-ibu Majelis Taklim dan pengolah jajanan tradisional dengan total peserta sebanyak 20 orang. Untuk memotivasi dan meningkatkan wawasan serta keterampilan mereka maka dilakukan kegiatan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: (1) Tahap persiapan, meliputi: survey tempat, jumlah peserta, mempersiapkan bahan dan alat untuk pelatihan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan; (2) Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa dengan penyuluhan menyebabkan adanya pengetahuan baru dan meningkatkan kesadaran peserta akan manfaat rumput laut terhadap Kesehatan bila digunakan dalam makanan. Selain itu bertambahnya pengetahuan dan minat untuk menggunakan media online. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan manisan rumput laut telah tercapai dan berhasil, yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu kelompok majelis taklim dalam mengolah produk olahan berbahan dasar rumput laut.

ABSTRACT
COVID-19 is a threat to society, especially on economic issues, to prevent this, community needs to generate additional income. Livelihood patterns in Raja Village are closely related to marine resources. To increase the added value, the development of seaweed cultivation is carried out. Given the increasing importance of creative economic activities, especially in micro businesses, it is necessary to apply science and technology to women of seaweed fishermen groups in making seaweed-based products. This activity involves the mothers of Majelis Taklim group and traditional snack processors with a total of 20 participants. To motivate and improve their insights and skills, activities are carried out with the following stages: (1) Preparatory stages, including: site surveys, number of participants, preparing materials and tools for training, stages of implementation of activities; (2) Stage of implementation of activities with extension and training methods. The results of the activity showed that counseling led to new knowledge and increased participants' awareness of the health benefits of seaweed when used in food. In addition, increasing knowledge and interest in using online media. Training activities on making seaweed sweets have been achieved and succeeded, namely increasing the knowledge and skills of mothers of the Majelis Taklim group in processing processed products made from seaweed.
