PENERAPAN BIOFLOK-AKUAPONIK DI DESA KALISIDI BERBASIS HASIL PENELITIAN

ABSTRAK
Bioflok-Akuaponik merupakan suatu sistem budidaya ikan dan tanaman yang telah dikembangkan melalui sebuah penelitian. sistem Bioflok- Akuaponik telah diujicobakan pada skala laboratorium dan terbukti memiliki keunggulan diantaranya adalah tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas, efisiensi penggunaan air, efisiensi penggunaan pakan, tidak memerlukan pupuk untuk kebutuhan tanaman dan zero waste. Desa Kalisidi menjadi pilihan dalam implementasi hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat karena Kalisidi merupakan sebuah desa di Kecamatan Ungaran Barat, Semarang, Jawa Tengah Indonesia yang berada di daerah ketinggian yang memiliki sumber air melimpah sehingga berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai sentra perikanan darat. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah memberdayakan potensi desa dan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan ekonomi melalui penerapan sistem bioflok-akuaponik dalam budidaya ikan dan tanaman Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik lapangan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan budidaya ikan dan tanaman melalui sistem Bioflok-Akuaponik.

ABSTRAK
Biofloc-Aquaponics is a fish and plant cultivation system that has been developed through research. The Biofloc-Aquaponics system has been tested on a laboratory scale and is proven to have advantages such as not requiring a large area of land, efficient use of water, efficient use of feed, not requiring fertilizer for plant needs and zero waste. Kalisidi Village is the choice in implementing the results of research that has been carried out through community service activities because Kalisidi is a village in West Ungaran Subdistrict, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, which is located in an altitude area that has abundant water sources so that it has the potential to be developed as a center for inland fisheries. The purpose of Community Service is to empower the potential of villages and communities to improve the economy through the application of the biofloc-aquaponic system in fish and plant cultivation. The community service methods used are counseling, training and field practice. The result of this activity is an increase in community knowledge and skills in the management of fish and plant cultivation through the Biofloc-Aquaponics system.
